Design Inspiration
This silk scarf draws its inspiration from the untamed spirit of galloping horses—powerful, dynamic, and full of vitality. In the design, horses surge forward as if racing through the wind, breathing fiercely, leaping, and rearing up with energy. Gazing at the eighteen majestic steeds at the center of the scarf, one can almost hear the thunderous rhythm of hooves echoing across an arena. Surrounding them are elegant equestrian elements—ceremonial whips, plumes, buckles, and saddles—classic symbols that celebrate the timeless grace of the equestrian world.
Designed by Laurence Bourthoumieux, the motif was inspired by 19th-century catalog illustrations of horse tack and riding equipment. Around the wild, central horses, these ornate objects swirl in a vibrant, radiant dance, creating a dazzling composition full of movement and color.
Wearing this scarf is like donning a knight’s mantle—allowing you to carry elegance and poise even in the cool of a summer air-conditioned room.
