Whirling reins spiral around other royal carriages reserved for state occasions, including Queen Alexandra’s State Coach and the Diamond Jubilee State Coach, weaving a tapestry of British tradition and ceremonial splendor.
At each corner of the scarf, the national emblems of England, Northern Ireland, Wales, and Scotland are thoughtfully adorned upon vibrant, wheel-like motifs — a symbolic celebration of unity among the four nations of the United Kingdom.
Designed by British artist Stuart Patience, this creation draws inspiration from a visit to the Royal Mews, where craftsmanship and heritage converge. For the making of this very scarf, the Royal Mews opened its doors exclusively to Hermès — a rare honor and a testament to shared values of excellence and timeless elegance.
